We imported Toulouse breeding stock from France in 2006 and have been offering their progeny for the last couple of years. They are not an exhibition Toulouse, they are a utility goose that are very hardy and are grown commercially in France.

They are fast growers and make a nice carcass in the fall. Some hatched with tufts and we are offering those as Tufted Toulouse Geese.

I bought two of these unsexed, which ended up being two males. I got them along with 8 ducks. They have been incredibly protective of my flock and are rather fearless. They have stood up to my large German Shepard and neighborhood kicks. I also have lots of birds or prey where I live (owls, hawks, etc). Whereas neighbors have had their chickens grabbed, once the geese see a hawk and make their presence known, the predators stay away. With that all being said, since I raised them from goslings, they are never aggressive with me, but do have the usual fear when I am attempting to heard the flock where I want them. I like them enough to get them some lady friends and hopefully get some goose eggs.
January 18, 2021 | Excellent birds
We ordered 3 straight-run French Toulouse almost 2 years ago and are still very pleased with them. We ended up with 2 males and 1 female. A year and a half later and all three are were going strong. They get a bit feisty for about 2 months during the breeding season, but otherwise are pretty docile. Great looking "farm geese" that fit in well aesthetically with our sheep and chickens. Good fertility as well. We successfully hatched one of their off-spring this year. I processed one for Christmas dinner this year and it turned out well. It was a bit tough, but I waited till they were 1.5 years old. Probably should have processed at 6-8 months old instead. We've all grown attached to the remaining mated pair (Maude and Claude) and hope they stick around for many seasons to come.
January 5, 2022 | They are out guard geese
I got 1 male 2 females and 2 unknowns. Unfortunately 1 of my females came blind but they refunded me for her. She did not make it unfortunately:( but my other 4 geese are doing good they actually protect our little farm here very loud! our two runs are girl!! Which I was excited about since we lost one female. But it all turned out great 1 male and 3 females going strong. 1 female came out a little aggressive but the others are very sweet we call her karen

I purchased 6 of these to act as guardians for my 60 ducks. A dog killed one of the goslings, we took 2 to our farm and they get along great with the ducks and chickens and are not aggressive to us.I kept three of them at my home and they have grown into such pets I will never be able to eat them. I have to sit with them for half an hour after work while I drink my iced tea and they sit on my feet and tell me all about their day. They nibble on my bracelets and chatter like old ladies at tea time. If I am working in the yard they flap their wings and run all over the place following me. The dogs are considered trouble and they form a phalanx in front of me and hissing and flapping their wings make sure my dogs dont come near. They are much neater than ducks and love grass, leaving for some reason my tomatoes completely alone, so good weeders. They are not noisy, Great pets good guardians and will never end up on my table.

Our baby, Gloria arrived perfectly fine! She came with 2 sisters, nutritional gel and very alive and active! I am happy with the whole delivery process!
April 17, 2023 | 8 Beautiful Goslings
Our goslings all arrived healthy and are growing nicely. They were friendly at the start, but have since shied away a bit. We start all of babies in our enclosed shop in large plastic storage totes.Webuse lots of dried grass or mulch in their bins for bedding along with a high protein crumble feed, plenty of water and ceramic heat lamps. Once they're about two weeks old with weather permitting, they go outside into a moveable pen on fresh grass every day. This gives them more freedom and a healthier environment. It also gives our other ducks and geese the ability to get used to the new arrivals, before they're fully mingled with the rest. These last 8 that were shipped at the end of March, are now at this stage. They are doing well and are in with 13 same age Muscovy ducklings that were hatched on our farm. All are doing well and growing nicely. Will be ordering more. Thank You!
