October 11, 2020 | Great Mix of Healthy Ducklings

We got 4 different kinds of ducklings in our mixed package. All of them were healthy. I am very pleased.

January 18, 2021 | Great variety!

We ordered 7 "mixed ducklings" to complete an order and avoid a small order charge on our goslings. We recieved 8 total ducklings of 8 different breeds! Not sure if this is standard or not, but the box also included a label listing the breeds included. The family-favorite was the Blue Swedish drake.

April 25, 2021 | Week old an spoiled babies!!

So I am thinking I have one blue runner and another runner, my drake's are very spoiled boys. They have definitely brought so much joy into my life this week of watching them learn me an how to get me twisted around their little webbed feet. Beautiful healthy happy babies!

I received my order of 5 female mixed ducklings yesterday. This was my first time ordering any type of bird by mail. I was amazed that they seemed so lively and healthy after shipping. Metzer Farms shipped them carefully, and it shows. I will definitely order again from Metzer Farms!

December 8, 2021 | Ducklings got all the way to NE KY in winter ALL well!!!!!!!

I was worrying about the weather and the mail but all is well and Metzers shipping was great. Thank you Metzer for doing this for us and for your important work. We LOVE our birds!!!!!

December 18, 2021 | Mixed Ducklings are So Worth It!

I ordered 8 female mixed ducklings. I Received 1 Buff duckling, 1 Blue Swedish duckling, 2 Golden Layer 300 ducklings, 4 Khaki Campbells. Great selections and amazingly healthy ducklings. I am especially impressed with these Goden Layer 300s - they are strong, hardy. They seem dominant. All ducklings arrived in great health and were ready to explore and grow.

May 7, 2022 | Beautiful Babies

We love our ducklings! They arrived healthy and energetic. We gave them electrolyte water as a precaution after a long trip and they took to this farm just like it had been home the whole time. Metzer Farms gave us updates the whole way about what to expect and how to care for our new arrivals. Thank you, Metzer Farms for sharing your babies with us. We love them and they have a happy home in NWKS.

May 22, 2022 | Mixed females

I was brought to tears when I saw my girls for the first time. I had a pet duck as a young girl my very first pet. I loved her so much. The mixed yielded 2 kinds of ducks, Roens and blue Swedish they are almost 2 weeks old and have begun to develop personality. Thank you for amazing little girls.

July 10, 2022 | Super Friendly!

I ordered 2 females, and received 2 Rouens. They are super friendly which is a wonderful surprise! Unfortunately one developed a respiratory infection and passed, but Metzer sent me another "Mixed Female", and I received another Rouen. I was hoping for some different breeds, but have been nicely surprised as these babies grow and are super friendly! A+ experience, wonderful customer service and babies.

August 4, 2022 | 4 Beautiful healthy ducklings

Shipping was fast and all 4 babies made it safely! Babies were very active and happy when they arrived, I received 4 different duck breeds that I am very happy with! Thanks Metzer Farms!

September 22, 2022 | Mixed ducklings

The ducklings arrived today and are doing great. We ordered 8 mixed females and received 3 black swedish, 3 welsh harlequin, and 3 golden layer hybrids. We appreciate the extra hen and are pleased with all our girls. Thank you!

December 24, 2022 | The cutest bunch

Our order arrived promptly, and we even received a bonus duckling! We ordered mixed females, and were sent two of each breed they sent to us. Unfortunately, one of the ducklings didn't make it through the first day, but the others seem to be thriving so far. They're happily eating, drinking, and exploring. We're definitely happy with the ducklings, and would order through Metzer Farms again.

I received my mixed ducklings order on Feb. 23, and all 10 arrived safely and healthy. I have a female goose that was on her nest 10 days after losing her only baby. I put all ducklings in with her and she accepted all of them! Thank you Metzer Farms.

April 13, 2023 | Very helpful and reliable!

I ordered 2 ducklings from Metzer farms they came in 4 days. One sadly passed the day after it arrived so i contacted Metzer Farms and they responded in less than 30 minutes and they sent me 2 to replace the one that passed. The staff was so helpful and kind.

sadly my one duckling passed away after 4 days no fault of the company! i ordered 2 mix in my last order and got to very healthy happy babies. i just placed a order for 5 more cant wait to see my surprise duckies!

My ducklings arrived healthy and happy, and they've done great so far. However, I have to admit I was a little disappointed in the selection. I ordered 6 ducklings, and all of them were Pekins. So just keep in mind that a mixture isn't guaranteed when you buy.

I got two white layers and a black swedish and they're growing so fast and such a bonded little group. This is my first time having ducks and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

September 23, 2023 | Mixed Female Ducks

We ordered 6 mixed female ducks due to having so many male ducks on our private lake. We received 4 different breeds and we are thrilled. The girls are now 4 months old and are thriving on the lake. They still want to be put up at night but that is okay and they can choose when they want to be out 24/7. They love being with the big ducks and geese.

I am beyond satisfied with Metzer's farms. It was my fist time ordering ducklings, and all 7 arrived alive and well! They were sent on a Tuesday and I picked them up from the post office Thursday morning. We ordered 6 females and 1 male. We got 3 Cayuga, 2 Buff and 2 Blue Swedish ducklings in our mixed duckling package. Thank you Metzer farms!!

October 6, 2023 | Mixed Ducks Arrived Healthy and Happy

I ordered 15 female mixed ducklings. I recieved 16 ducks. The ducks arrived healthy and happy from the hatchery, but I had to track the order via USPS online because the post office did not call us to let us know they had arrived. They were energetic and started eating and drinking as soon as they were introduced into the brooder. I was impressed with the activity and overall health and vigor of the ducklings. I was happy to get a good variety of ducks within the order. I recieved 6 white layers, 9 golden hybrids, and 1 rouen. It was a really nice surprise because those were the breeds I wanted to order but they were not available. They even included the breeds on my invoice which was very helpful. Overall, the ordering experience was easy, directions for starting my ducks were online and emailed to me, and the ducklings arrived alive and well. I would recommend ordering from Metzer farms. I do have a suggestion though....they should start offering a package of one of everything or something of that sort for those who would like a huge variety of breeds to raise for a hobby flock. I know some hatcheries do this with chickens...15 chickens of 15 random breeds etc. Just sayin that would be a cool duck or goose package to offer.

February 29, 2024 | What a nice surprise

I added on 3 mixed ducks with the Appleyards I ordered. They all came today happy and healthy. I received 1 Blue Swedish and 2 Black Swedish. I couldn't be happier as they are one of my top 5 choices in breeds.

We received our four babies today and I was very surprised I got all different breeds. Very happy with the ordering and shipping process. They arrived healthy and happy! We will be ordering again in the future!
