If you just want an assortment of Runners, but don't care which colors and want to save a bit of money, order the Assorted Runners. If you order at least six, we will make sure you get at least two colors. If you order fifteen, you will get at least three different colors. You can order them to be sexed so you get the sexes you want, but you cannot order specific colors if you order Assorted Runners.
Please note that our Runner Duck Assortment can include Black, Blue, Chocolate and Fawn & White Runners. There is also the possibility that you will receive Silver Runners in this selection.

All arrived healthy and very energetic. Their growth over the 5 days since they arrived has been wonderful. I ordered enough for 3 colors and received fawn and white, blue, and chocolate runners.

Very happy with my runner duck assortment. I only got 4 to fill more of my box but I was very pleased to get 3 different colors of runner. I was fully expecting to get all fawn and whites but instead I got two blue, one chocolate and 1 fawn and white. They are all very healthy and active. Would highly recommend.

I unfortunately had to order replacements due to the postal service hiccuping, but my replacements arrived in record time after contacting the company. I'm pleased to report that all arrived happy and healthy. I ordered 4 assorted runners and received 2 fawns, a chocolate, and a blue. Thank you!

I ordered 6 assorted runner ducks for our backyard since I couldnt decide on a color (1 male and 5 female), and even though I was only guaranteed 2 different colors, I received 3! They sent 1 blue duckling, 2 brown and 3 black. They are adorable and growing like weeds! I definitely recommend this assortment if you'd like your ducks to be a "surprise". They went out of their way to make sure I got a variety beyond their own policy and I really appreciated it. Thanks!

I purchased 5 female runners and all arrived safe and sound in about a day and a half after shipping. I ordered the assortment knowing that I didn't get enough to guarantee multiple colors, but they were kind enough to send both blacks and chocolates. I wouldn't hesitate to order again.
February 27, 2023 | One Chocolate and Two F&W's. All hens.
We showed our ducks at the county fair with a Duck Slide for them to play on. They are all such sweet girls! Five out of five, always! Unfortunatly, we lost our Chocolate runner and one of our two Fawn and Whites, but while they were alive, they were great birds to be around! The remaining girl just started laying, and she is a wonderful layer! Will definitely buy again!

My ducklings came in the mail today! I'm disappointed that I only received one color despite ordering 6 ducklings, but the fact that they all arrived happy and healthy deserves 5 stars.

I am thrilled! I ordered 5 mixed female runners and received 4 faun and white as well as a chocolate. They arrived safely in less than 2 days. We have had them nearly a week now and they are happy, healthy and growing. Thank you very much! CMK

My three runner ducks arrived a day and a half after order shipped. All arrived alert, happy, and energetic. Was nervous to order ducks through the mail, but would highly recommend! Customer service was also great when I called with care questions.
June 1, 2023 | Great ducks, a little disappointed though
I was ordering runners for someone who wanted to get black and blue runners, however when I placed the order blacks and blues were already sold out. So I ordered three of these instead and put a note in my order, but only got fawn and whites. The ducklings are happy, chirpy, and they made themselves right at home in their brooder. I do wish I got a little variation though. So keep in mind that if you only get a few of these, you aren't guaranteed an assortment at all.
June 18, 2023 | Healthy ducks, no color variety
The runners in my order all arrived healthy. However I was very disappointed to only receive one color (fawn & white.) Now, I did only order 5 runners and not the 6 for a guaranteed second color, but I'd hoped they'd at least send ONE token duckling of a different color. I even specifically ordered a male, figuring that even if they only had females of one color they would surely have an excess of drakes in the other colors so I could have at least one duckling that was different....but no, he was a fawn & white too.

Metzer Farms is awesome! All my little ducklings came in safe and sound. I ordered 6 and got an assortment of colors. I got two black, two brown, and two fawn and white duckies. They all came healthy and happy! They are true to their word on the duck insurance, I highly recommend it! I will be ordering more ducks soon!! :D
