Following are some USA and international organizations with an interest in waterfowl. Please send us information on any we have missed.
American Livestock Breed Conservancy (ALBC)
An active organization dedicated to preserving and increasing numbers and economic viability of rare breeds of poultry and livestock. They produce a very good publication every two months.
American Poultry Association (APA)
An association of poultry exhibitors and judges from throughout the United States. They produce an annual directory and quarterly newsletter.
Bird Shippers of America (BSA)
An association of hatcheries and their customers that promote and ensure the continued shipment of day-old and adult poultry through the US Postal System
British Goose Producers Association
A trade organization promoting geese, along with growing instructions, history, recipes and nutritional value of goose meat.
British Waterfowl Association
The BWA is an association of enthusiasts interested in keeping, breeding and conserving all
kinds of waterfowl including wildfowl, domestic ducks and geese.
Domestic Waterfowl Club of Great Britain
The club was set up by breeders for breeders and although a number are very keen on showing,
this is not the main thrust of the club as it exists to help the novice, junior and long term breeder alike.
Heritage Poultry Breeders Association of America
The HPBAA is dedicated to the promotion of large fowl chickens and all varieties of ducks, geese, turkeys and guineas.
Their website is user friendly where both members and visitors can learn and share knowledge about this nation's poultry
and their breeders.
Indian Runner Duck Association of England
This association was created to look after the health and welfare of this unique duck and to help those people who keep, breed and show pure Indian Runners.
International Waterfowl Association
The International Waterfowl Breeder's Association has a quarterly newsletter featuring articles on: conditioning birds for breeding and show, breeding set-ups,
pen construction, and more. The IWBA also provides a Junior Membership program to encourage young people to raise and exhibit purebred waterfowl.
The IWBA sponsors three National Meets, an Eastern, a Western, and a Canadian each year.
National Call Breeders of America
The club was formed to encourage increased exhibition of Call ducks by offering club awards and a Master Breeder program.
North American Gamebird Association (NAGA)
An organization of game bird producers (mallards, pheasants, chukars, quail) and the preserves on which they are hunted.
This is an excellent hobby site run by a small group of poultry keeping enthusiasts in England. You will find over 350 articles and some useful
resources on keeping ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, chickens and other poultry together with a poultry forum to ask questions.

Poultry Youth Association
A website for young poultry raisers featuring an active poultry forum.
Practical Poultry Vet Site
A website designed for poultry keepers and their health questions. It provides direct contact with Westpoint Veterinary Group in England.
