Youth Show Winners
In an effort to encourage youth to show waterfowl in our country’s fairs and poultry shows, we are offering gift certificates to youth show winners.
Best Meat Pen (minimum of 4 pens) …………………$15.00
Best of Breed (minimum of 5 birds) ………………….$15.00
Best of Class (minimum of 12 birds)………………….$25.00
Showmanship Winner (minimum of 12 birds)………..$25.00
Best Waterfowl (minimum of 15 birds)……………….$40.00
Best of Show (minimum of 50 birds)………………….$75.00
The show date must have been between December 1, 2009 and November 30, 2010. Maximum of one gift certificate per bird (or pen) per show. We must receive the following mailed in one envelope:
1) Letter from 4H or FFA leader or show manager stating:
Name of winner and placing show
Name, location and date of show
Statement that our minimum bird criteria has been met
2) Letter from youth show winner including:
Winner’s name, mailing address and phone number.
Statement that bird was purchased from Metzer Farms or from
Eggs purchased from Metzer Farms. Statement we can use their
Picture and name in our catalog or website
3) Photograph (prefer digital) of bird, winner and ribbons/trophy
· Duck Classes: Bantam, Light, Medium, Heavy
· Goose Classes: Light, Medium, Heavy, Ornamental
