| All goose eggs are produced in the spring, with the infertile eggs being blown and cleaned at that time. Some sizes sell out fairly quickly and others are available year around. Please call for availability. Duck eggs are produced year round and the necessary infertile eggs are blown as orders are received. |
| All our eggs have only one hole in their large end. They are blown, and are rinsed with a disinfectant and clear water. We then insert a bright light inside the egg as a final inspection, then eliminate all eggs with cracks or interior stains. All eggs are washed on their exterior with a mild muriatic acid solution to remove stains and leave the eggs white. They are carefully inspected as we only want to ship you the very best. Blue duck eggs are available in pee wee, small and medium. They are an additional $.10 each. |
| It is importatnt to tell us if you will be using the pysanky method of dying as these eggs should not be washed with the muriatic acid solution. There is no difference in price, we just eliminate the final wash in muriatic acid. These eggs, therefore, will not be as white as those washed in muriatic acid. |

The sizes for the goose eggs indicated above show their largest circumference. We measure from the hole, around the other end of the egg and back to the hole. These sizes are the minimum for that price. In other words, a 9.5" egg measures anywhere from 9.5" to 9.99" in circumference. Duck eggs are sized according to their weight, not their circumference, when they are washed and weighed prior to placement in our incubators each day. Measurements shown are typical of that size of egg. Freight is in addition to these prices. We normally ship through the US Postal Service unless you request otherwise. Breakage is rarely a problem. Goose eggs are packed in cases of 90 except for the 8" eggs which are packed 120 per case and the 10.5"-12.5" eggs which are wrapped individually. Duck egg cases hold 200 eggs. You do not need to order complete cases. You can order any quantity of any size as long as the total is at least $20.00, excluding freight. If you want eggs that are not blown you can deduct $.20 per egg from these prices. |
