Chinese Ringneck Pheasant |
|
Chinese Ringneck Pheasants are beautiful birds for hunting
or just to see around your property. They are very hardy and
strong flyers if released. Their meat is delicious and found
in the finest restaurants. If you plan to release them in the
wild, try to have as little contact with the birds as possible
as you raise them so they maintain their fear of humans. Release
can be at 8-10 weeks of age. |

Wild Turkey |
|
Our Wild Turkeys are the Eastern strain. Since they are very
hardy and excellent flyers they are making a major comeback throughout
the United States. They are handsome, stately birds to raise.
If raised around humans, they remain very calm and will normally
stay close by if released. Wild Turkeys are not as large as domestic
turkeys but will still make a very memorable, historical Thanksgiving
meal. |
