Call Duck Colors

Black Call Ducks have glossy black plumage and typically feature black legs and a black bill creating a striking and uniformly black appearance. Some black ducklings may have minimal variations, but the primary coloration is solid black sometimes with a white bib.

Blue Call Ducks typically have a soft, slate-blue plumage with a slightly lighter shade on their heads and neck. This subtle bluish-gray hue creates an overall elegant and attractive appearance.

Gray Call Ducks have the same color scheme as Mallards. Males have a glossy green head and a white neck ring while females have a mostly brown coloration to their feathers.

Pastel Call Duckshave soft and muted feathering consisting of a blend of light gray, soft brown, and pale blue hues throughout their plumage. This creates a nice, delicate appearance which distinguishes them from the other more vividly colored varieties of Call Ducks. Pastel call ducks' gentle hues make them a favorite for those who prefer a more subtle yet elegant addition to their flock.

Snowy Call Ducks are different in color depending on gender. Males have a glossy green head, white neck stripe, and brown/gray plumage. Females have a lighter brown head with a light colored body and brown, black, beige, and green on their wings. Regardless of gender, Snowy Call Ducks are sure to capture the hearts of all who see them.

Penciled Call Ducks have intricate and fine penciling patterns on their feathers resembling delicate lacework. Their plumage is typically a light color, such as creamy white or pale gray, with darker pencil-like markings making them appear elegant and detailed.

White Call Ducks have pure white plumage creating a pristine and immaculate appearance. They are characterized by completely white feathers, a yellow bill, and yellow feet, giving them a striking and elegant presence.

My call duck is the cutest but unfortunately very aggressive and frightened of us. Unless I have food or treats in my hand he will run away from me. I'm going to try again and order another batch and hopefully it was only a fluke and I'll get a calmer one. All my other ducks behaved as expected for their breed and are so much fun since we are hobbyists not farmers.
