Exciting News! We are developing our very own Metzer Farms Poultry Pack. This product is a highly absorbable powder concentrate specifically formulated for waterfowl. You add the mixture to your waterfowl's water to aid in combating stress and to just to keep your birds healthier in general. It contains essential vitamins, minerals, electrolytes AND probiotics. This is the first waterfowl product of its kind to contain the addition of probiotics.
It is great to use when your ducklings first arrive home from the hatchery and it is also suggested for periods of stress to establish and replenish intestinal flora.
We are anxious for this new product to hit the market, but we need your help first. We are trying to figure out what to name our new Poultry Pack and we thought we'd open up the brainstorming process to our Metzer Farms Customer and Friends.
Do you have a clever idea for its name? If so, please let us know! Suggestions like "Duck Aid" or "Poultry Power Pack"? Let your imagination go and let's hear your most creative ideas!

Metzer Farms is an exhibitor at this year's 2023 Montana Livestock Expo in Great Falls, MT. The expo will be one day only on Thursday, April 20th. John Metzer will be there attending. If you are in the area and want to stop by to talk ducks or geese, please by all means do so. We would love that!

There will be over 50 vendors and this show will be a true multi-species expo. Livestock nutritionists on site as well as equipment dealers, livestock genetics reps and livestock pharmaceuticals. Don’t miss the Montana egg producers graded egg competition and sale of champions charity auction at the end of the day.

Just a reminder that we are hatching and shipping from 2 locations weekly. Your duckling orders ship out of either our California Hatchery or our Tennessee Hatchery depending on your location. Our system will assign orders to a shipping location on hatch day based on availability and location. We try to ship from the hatchery closest to you allowing for a shorter transit time and a better delivery experience for you and your birds.
