This year's photo contest will be held during the month of September so prepare now by finding (or taking) your best photo of your fine feathered friend. In our next September Metzer Farms Newsletter Issue you will be able to submit photos of you and your ducks and geese. Grab your camera now and strike a pose! By submitting your waterfowl photos, you will be eligible to win a chance to have your photo displayed in our 2024 Catalog or have your photo shared on our social media. DUCK INSURANCE BY METZER FARMS
HOW, WHAT, WHERE?

You might not know that you can actually insure your Metzer Farms duckling. That's right - Insurance on Ducks. It's a thing 😊. Here, let us explain:

For only $5 per duck, you can have the comfort of knowing your birds are insured for one year after purchase. If you lose a bird for any reason, Metzer Farms will send you a replacement bird of the same breed and gender for zero cost to you and free shipping. You just phone or email us to let us know what happened and we will send you a replacement duckling in the mail.

The only caveat is that if you lost just one duck, we cannot ship one replacement bird alone in the mail, so we include a second free hatchery select duckling in the order. Each shipment requires a minimum of 2 ducks.

Here are some important points on Metzer Farms Duck Insurance to consider:

* Duck insurance is good for one year from the date your order was shipped.

* This is a one-time replacement. If we replace a bird that passed during shipping or within the first 48 hours of arrival, this is not considered a life insurance redemption. This replacement bird is still covered by the original bird’s life insurance.

* Metzer Farms Bird Insurance is for ducks only. Sorry we do not insure geese, pearl guineas, or cornish cross.

* Duck insurance cannot be added after you receive your birds. Duck insurance must be set-up prior to shipping.
