Grab your cameras! It is that time of year again - Time to submit your best photo of you and your fine feathered friend for Metzer Farms Annual Photo Contest. Entrants have the chance to win fun prizes by entering. Additionally, entrants get the chance to be included in our Metzer Farms 2023 Catalog or have their photo shared on our social media platforms. It's time to take some photos!
HOW TO ENTER: If your social media account is public, simply post your photo submission(s) on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #METZERFARMS2024 to be included in the contest. We will look at the hashtag at the end of the contest and review all submissions. If you are not on social media or your account is private, no worries. Just click on the Button Below and upload your photos directly to us.
PRIZES: We will select 2 photos we like best for our winners:
First Prize: $100 Metzer Farms Gift Certificate (or $100 donated to the charity of your choice) Second Prize: $50 Metzer Farms Gift Certificate (or $50 donated to the charity of your choice)
TIME LINE: Photo submissions will be open for the entire month of September 2023. Photo submissions will close September 30th. We will announce our winners in early November.
SPECIFICS: Be sure to include photos of your waterfowl with you and other family members too. We love seeing our ducks and geese as part of your family! Even better - Include a quote about your waterfowl and your Metzer Farms purchase experience in your post.
Multiple entries allowed and reposts of past content are also welcome, just use #METZERFARMS2024 to be included. By submitting your photo, you agree that the photos can be used for any communication related to the mission of Metzer Farms.

The CDC just released some great new material for backyard poultry owners. This information is especially important for individuals who are new to duck and chicken ownership. The aim to spread the word on how to stay safe with backyard poultry in terms of cleanliness and biosecurity procedures. Flock owners need to know how to safely care for poultry and clean eggs to prevent the spread of germs.
