We are frequently asked what brand of home incubator we recommend to our customers for hatching fertilized duck eggs at home or on the farm. This is an interesting question for us because we actually do not hatch our ducklings in small, personal incubators. We use large incubators that hold thousands of eggs at one time.
When incubating eggs at home, it is very important that you use an accurate incubator and there are a lot of brands of incubators out there.

Every month we hide the above little black duck illustration somewhere on our website and every month the black duck is moved to a different location. Entrants must search for the duck image on Metzerfarms.com. When the black duck is found, entrants click on it and are linked to our contest entry form. Once entered in our contest, entrants are eligible to win. We will draw one winner from all entries at the end of the contest period. It is fun and easy to enter. Look closely. The black duck could be anywhere!
WHAT YOU WIN:
Normally, our winner of our monthly Hidden Duck Contest wins a Metzer Farms $40 Gift Certificate. This June we are going to do things a little differently. Instead of winning a $40 gift certificate, we will be offering 2 straight run Call Ducklings of your color choice to the winner. This is an exciting prize package valued at over $100.
